Location: Hotel Edda Eiðar is located only 12 km from the town of Egilsstaðir. The accommodation is in a former elementary boarding school in three buildings. The restaurant, which seats 100, is reputed for its varied menu
Eiðar is a quiet summer hotel, located in a great place for people who love being outdoors. You can have a go at trout fishing in lake Eiðarvatn, which is only a short walk away, or horse riding or you can spend your day exploring the area walking along one of the many marked walking paths that go from our hotel. There is something for everybody - whether you just want a short walk or a real mountain hike.
Rooms: 42 rooms are double or twin, 3 are single and 1 is triple (mattress on floor). They are all with shared faciliities.
