Locations: Hotel Edda ME is located in Egilsstaðir - the capital of the East. The building is used as a secondary boarding school and converted into a hotel during the summer. The location is in town, within walking distance of a splendid 50 metre swimming pool, with paddling pool and sauna.
The hotel is on 3 floors. On the second floor of the hotel there is a spacious restaurant (capacity 150 persons) with a picturesque view over the Lagarfljót river.
Rooms: The rooms are spacious, with private bath. 39 twin or double rooms, and 13 triple / fourbedded rooms. The triple / fourbedded rooms are on two levels; the two-level rooms have plenty of room for four persons, and are ideal for families.
