Hong Kong in review
Hong Kong is a busy city, with over 14 million people jostling for space amongst its streets, so it's quite remarkable how orderly it is, from the efficiently run transport system to its state of the art shopping centres. The city is influenced by eastern and western cultures reflected in the local people, cuisine and music. Visiting Hong Kong, you can easily find yourself caught up in its rhythm and fast city pace.
A holiday to Hong Kong is an event. A confusing, but enjoyable, experience as you taste dim sum, spend a while at the Wong Sai temples and cross the Tsing Ma Suspension Bridge to the New Territories. Mong Kok is one of the busiest districts with each street devoted to different goods. Traditional Chinese medicine shops are plentiful and fascinating places.
Relax on Lantau Island and discover its mountain trails and waterfalls or exhaust yourself at Hong Kong Disneyland. If you're looking to break away from the masses then you'll be happy to know the majority of Hong Kong is selected for parks, nature reserves and beaches.
