The Igelstadt Hotel is located in the ‘Waldecker Land’ near the Edersees, Willingen, Winterberg, Korbach, Frankenberg. Because of the numerous hiking trails it is ideal for long walks. Our Hotel is a family- friendly hotel with 90 beds. It is also a perfect place for meetings, festivities and workshops.
Your holiday-day starts of with a nicely prepared breakfast. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere and cuisine in our restaurant. Our homemade cakes are not only popular amongst our little guests. In the evenings you can relax in our sauna or if you are up for some more activity you can come for a bowling game to our bowling ally.

The regions of the Waldecker Land and Hochsauerland are offering interesting destinations for the whole family throughout the year. By car they can be reached From Fürstenberg within a few minutes.
At the Edersee (Ederlake) there are numerous possibilities for water sports and swimming offered. Here you also can visit the region’s landmark: The caslte Waldeck, the summer toboggan run and a wildlife park.

- Trip to Willingen with the Diemelsee (Diemel lake)- roundtrip or visit to a schistose- mine
